ANN L. DILLARD
Ann L. Dillard, age 64 of Revere, MO, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at her home. She had been in failing health.
Ann was born April 14, 1953 in Carthage, IL, a daughter of Estel and Edna Goodwin Morss.
She was married to Otis J. McClain and they were the parents of her four children. She later married David Dillard, Sr. who currently resides in LaBelle Manor in Lewistown, MO.
Additional survivors include her four children: LeeAnn (Keith) Summers of Brighton, IL, Dawn (Leo) Fikes of Independence, MO, Justin McClain (Hope Egley) of Revere, MO and Jerred (Katrina) McClain of Kahoka, MO; grandchildren: Keith Summers, Jr. (Ashley Mincey) of Alton, IL, Richard Summers (Rachel Jones) of Alton, IL, Mychal Summers (Lee Crosby) of Nasvhille, TN, Zack Summers of O’Fallon, MO, Josh Summers (Tiarra Taylor) of St. Louis, MO, Leo, Jr., Nathan, and Miranda Fikes of Independence, MO, Adrian Egley of Alexandria, MO and Lea Tarpein, Rachel, Cameron and Victoria McClain, all of Kahoka, MO; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, Roy (Pam) Morss of Farmington, IA; brother-in-law, William Dunning of Kahoka, MO; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Barbara Dunning and Eldonna Steffen and her husband, Larry.
Ann graduated from Clark County R-1 High School in 1971 and received additional education at John Wood Community College in Quincy. In the 1970's and early 1980's she and her husband, Otis, worked construction in the Quincy area where she was a member of Labor Union Local 919. She retired from Heartland Home Health Care when she was no longer able to work. She had been raised in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kahoka.
Ann was very talented and loved to quilt, crochet, and craft. She also enjoyed assembling puzzles. In addition, she loved to fish, camp and looked forward to deer hunting. She was proud of her family and loved being with them.
Memorial services for Ann will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 1 p.m. until time of services.
