BARBARA ANN ZINNERT

Barbara Ann Zinnert age 66 of St. Louis, formerly of Kahoka, died Friday,October 1, 2010 at St. Johns Hospital in St. Charles, MO.

Barbara was born April 21, 1945, at Keokuk, Iowa, a daughter of Ben W. and Elnora Hess Zinnert.

Survivors include her brother-in-law, Irvin Schurwan of St. Louis, MO, nieces and nephews and their families, and several cousins and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents and foster sister, Mary Louise Schurwan.

Barbara attended Sugar Creek grade school in rural Clark County and received workshop training in Montrose, IA and special training in St. Louis. She was employed by the Industrial Opportunities in Kahoka and later at Boone Center in St. Peters, MO.

Barbara was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Kahoka. She moved to Emmaus Group Home in St. Charles, MO in 1991. She loved people and never forgot anyones birth date.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Kahoka with burial following in the St. Paul Cemetery.

Family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until time of services at St. Paul Church.
