CATHY ELAINE DAVIS
Cathy Elaine Davis, age 52, of Kahoka, MO, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2007, at the North Village Park Nursing Home in Moberly, MO, from a neurological disease known as pallido ponto nigral degeneration.
Cathy was a life-long resident of the Kahoka and Williamstown area. She was born April 7, 1954, the oldest daughter of the late Cleo and Ruth Davis. She graduated from Clark County R-1 High School in 1972.
Cathy is survived by a daughter Cari and her husband Darrin Watson of Atlanta, MO, and two grandchildren, Andy and Kaidyn. She is also survived by a son, Johnnie.
Also surviving is her only sister, Carla and her husband Kenney Ball of Kahoka, MO, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.
Cathy was a very hard worker and was employed at several area factories. She retired from her job at C & R Market in Kahoka once her health began to fail.
She was known for her love of fun, her huge smile and always cheerful personality. She truly enjoyed her family and friends. She was also known around Kahoka as "Aunt Cathy" and her famous chocolate chip cookies were always in demand.
Cathy requested that no funeral services be held, but a visitation for close family and all friends will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made in Cathy's name to the Clark County Moose Lodge or Ayer-Boatman Post #4342, V.F. W. She enjoyed spending time with friends at both places.
At her request, cremation rites have been accorded.
