Cindy Fields, 78, of Wayland, passed away at 7:59pm on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.
Cindy was born on January 24, 1943, in Quincy, IL, the daughter of the late Edgar Elmer and Martha Rosemary (Dyer) Hoener.
She was a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame. On November 7, 1980, she married Curtis Wayne Fields, he precedes her in death.
Cindy enjoyed going to the casino, attending rodeos in area, and going to Mule Fest. She was a sassy soul, but none the less a ray of sunshine, and cherished her family more than anything. The memories she held tight were spending time at the cabin in Alexandria with her friends, and having barbecues with her family.
Survivors include her children; Larry (Rhonda) Fields of Quincy, Doug Fields of Quincy, Ethan Evans of Wayland, Scott (Traci) Evans of Chicago, IL, Babette (Kenny) Roll of East Peoria, IL, Sabrina (Doug) Smeltser of Wayland, Teresa (Howard Hill) DeBlanc of Wayland, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Debbie Hicks, and one granddaughter, Heather Fields.
Cremation rites were accorded. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 24, from 4-7PM at the Wilson and Triplett Funeral Home in Kahoka. Memorial contributions in Cindy’s name were made to the family with checks payable to Babette Roll and could be sent to the Wilson and Triplett Funeral Home.
