CONNIE JEAN "C.J." GUTTING INMAN

Connie Jean "C.J." Gutting Inman, age 70 of LaGrange, MO, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

Connie was born October 13, 1947 in Kahoka, MO, a daughter of Vaden and Bernice Roberts Gutting.

She was married to Robert D. Inman and they were the parents of two children, Klancy and Kylee.

Survivors include her her daughter, Klancy Brook (Lee) Eberle of Mendon, IL; daughter-in-law, Linda Pruet Inman of Quincy; her companion of thirty years, Michael McKinnon of LaGrange; grandchildren: Kya Brook Inman of Murfreesboro, TN, Kamper Eberle of Mendon, IL, Kayla (Scott) Campbell of Quincy; and Dustin Eberle of Bunnell, FL; five great grand-children: Axel Thomas Hutton, Zachary Eberle, Cooper Campbell, and Rylan and Gavin Bower; siblings: Vaden Lee "Bud" (Debbie) Gutting of Quincy, Brenda Gutting of Quincy, and Charles Lee "Chuck" Gutting of Clayton, IL; step sisters: Nancy (Tom) McAndrew of Ottumwa, andI Shelly (Gary) Wood of Arbela; uncles and aunts: Harlan (Marilyn) Roberts of Kahoka, Edith Burkett of Quincy, and Jonna Cunningham of Bedford, IA; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kylee; step-sister, Connie Mayer; several aunts and uncles including Mary Jinkens, Vance Gutting, Veda Bogguss, Ronnie Gutting and Claire Walden.

Connie attended Kahoka High School and was an avid ball player, both softball and basketball. She was a majorette in the band. She was a member of the Kahoka Christian Church. Connie spent most of her life as homemaker and had worked at the Vanity Club in Quincy for several years.

Connie was a beautiful person with a wonderful heart and a winning smile. She was particular about her appearance and that pride extended into her home and in the loving care she gave her flowers and her yard. She was a friend to many and someone who you could count on to give advice when asked. She dearly loved her grandchildren, family get togethers, and friends.

Memorial services were held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Pastor Dixie Laube officiating.
