EDNA MAE McNALLEY

Edna Mae McNalley, age 89, formerly of Revere, MO, died Friday, December 30, 2005 at

her daughter's home in Burlington, IA.

She was born January 7, 1916 in Scotland Co., near Wyaconda, a daughter of David and Rosa Alice Bourn Lawson.

On February 12, 1939, she was united in marriage to Bernard "Bill" McNalley, at Memphis, MO. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1996.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeanette Johnson of Fort Madison, IA, and, Rose Tisor of Burlington, IA; nine grandchildren: Darla Stromquist of Lomax, IL, Kim Johnson of Ames, IA, Tonya Newberry of California, MD, Phyllis Gorrell of Danville, IA, Lori Stocker of Davenport, IA, Robert Alan Tisor of Douds, IA, Tammy Adkins of Bettendorf, IA, and,

Jodie Johnson and Scott Tisor, both of Burlington, IA; 17 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Lane Lawson of Hannibal, MO; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Ruth Lawson of LaPlata, MO, Edith Knisley of Hallsville, MO, Marjorie McNalley of East Moline, IL, and, Harold Fleshman of Wyaconda, MO; as well as several cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Richard McNalley; two brothers, Virgil and Jesse Lawson; two sisters, Zella Nichols and Pauline Fleshman; and her son-in-laws, Harold "Gene" Johnson and Robert D. Tisor.

Edna Mae was a graduate of Wyaconda High School. She was baptised into the Baptist faith and attended the Revere Community Church until she moved to be with her daughters due to declining health. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard and was very interested in genealogy. More than anything, she enjoyed being with her family.

Funeral services are Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Pastor Herb Doty officiating. Burial will follow in the Wyaconda Cemetery.

Friends can call after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
