EVELYN B. STORY

Evelyn B. Story, age 93, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at The Madison in Fort Madison, IA.

Evelyn was born April 3, 1921 in Granger, MO, the daughter of Brace B. and Anna Parish Huston.

She was united in marriage to Theodore M. Story on May 6, 1942 at Mt. Sterling, IA. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1997.

Survivors include a grandson and his family, Brace Story Carroll of Santaquin, UT; other relatives including Delores Wollam of Kahoka and her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Story.

Evelyn graduated from Kahoka High School. She was a former member of the Kahoka Christian Church. She left Clark County in 1949 and spent the rest of her life either in Burlington or Fort Madison except for a brief time spent in Utah.

She had been a teller at the First Star Bank and later at the First National Bank.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 15, at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with burial following in the National Cemetery in Keokuk, IA.

There was no other visitation.
