FLOYD N. LOTER
Floyd Nathan Loter, age 80, of Kahoka, MO, died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Lexington Square in Keokuk, IA.
He was born November 1, 1925 in Keokuk, IA, a son of Earl F. and Ruby Peterson Loter.
He had been married and was the father of Douglas Floyd Loter who survives.
Additional survivors include a sister, Betty Eder, of Kahoka, MO; several step-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bernice Welch, and a brother, William Loter.
Floyd had served in the military and was a retired electrician. He had worked various jobs through the years all over the United States and lived in the Davenport area various time through his life. He had lived with his sister, Betty, since 1993 until entering Lexington Square in November.
He had enjoyed bowling and watching television and was an avid Cub and Chicago Bulls fan.
Funeral services are Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka. Cremation will follow with inurnment at a later date.
Friends can call Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home with family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
