HATTIE M. IRVIN

Hattie M. Irvin, age 62, of Luray, MO, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2005 at her home.

She was born January 4, 1943 at Davenport, IA, the only child of Elmer Frank and Henrietta Eggert Privia.

She and Wesley A. Irvin were married January 17, 1965 at the First Christian Church in Kahoka.

Survivors include her husband, Wesley, of Luray, MO; three sons, James Irvin and his wife, Joyce, of Revere, MO, Arlen Irvin and Tony Irvin, both of Luray, MO; two daughters, Tammey Bunker and her husband, Dennis, of Revere, MO and Marie Vineyard and her husband, Eddy, of Luray, MO; four grand-children: Devin, Dammon, Amy, and Amanda Bunker; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: John and Edna Irvin of Farmington, IA, Iva and Kenny Davis of Redondo Beach, CA, Lola Weaver of Keokuk, IA, and Arlum Anderson of Copperas Cove, TX; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Hattie graduated from Revere High School in 1961. Previously she had been employed at Swift and Co. in Keokuk and Riverside Plastics in Bonaparte. She was a CNA at the Clark Co. Nursing Home until retiring in 1992 due to ill health.

Whenever possible, Hattie enjoyed being outdoors. She loved to fish, ride horses and help with mud runs her family ran at Mt. Sterling. She also enjoyed putting together puzzles and having others around. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Funeral services are Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Pastor Steve Wilhelm officiating. Burial will be in Chambersburg Cemetery.

Friends can call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home with family receiving friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Chambersburg Cemetery.
