INEZ E. MOSIER

Inez E. Mosier, age 94, of Kahoka, MO, died Monday, October 18, 2004 in Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA.

She was born December 19, 1909 at Memphis, MO, a daughter of James M. and Lillie Mustoe Leeper.

She was united in marriage to Arthur E. Mosier on May 30, 1936 at LaGrange, MO.

He preceded her in death on March 15, 1998.

Survivors include a foster son, James Snider and his wife, Barbara, of Belgrade, MT; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wm. N. Mosier of Crown Point, IN, P. L. Mosier and his wife, Mildred, of Colorado Springs, CO, Mary Leeper of Boca Raton, FL, and Hedy Mosier of Bridgeport, CT; nieces and nephews, James Leeper of Louisville, KY, Hugh Baker of Farmington, MI, Carroll Kittle and Clarice Kice, both of Arbela, MO, Robert Ayers of Canton, MO, Twila Boulware of Chillicothe, MO, Dorothy Dochterman of Kahoka, MO, Wanda McLeland of Macon, MO, Carolyn Ferguson of Ewing, MO, John Leeper of Canton, MI, Kathy Hobbs of Atlanta, GA, Paul Leeper of Cincinnati, OH, and, Jack Baker of Boynton Beach, FL; great nieces and nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Roy Leeper, Hollis Leeper, and Murlin Leeper; and three sisters, Maude Kittle, Opal Baker and Blanche Ayers.

Inez lived most of her life in Scotland and Clark Counties. She graduated from Memphis High School and Wayne University in Detroit, MI and attended Southwest Mo. State University. She taught school for a number of years and was last employed by the Department of Family Services, retiring in 1972.

She was a member of the Kahoka United Methodist Church, where she taught the adult Sunday School class and other Sunday School classes for many years. She was also a 50 year member of Kahoka Chapter # 40, O.E.S.

Funeral services are Thursday, October 21, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kahoka United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Payne officiating.

Burial will be in Combs Cemetery at Luray.

Friends can call after 4 p.m. on Wednesday with family receiving friends 5-7 p.m.

at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka.

Memorials are suggested to the Kahoka United Methodist Church Building Fund (for improvements)
