JENNY L. KINKADE

Jenny L. Kinkade, age 45, of rural Kahoka, MO, passed away Friday, September 22, 2006, at her home.

Jenny was born February 16, 1961, at Keokuk, IA, a daughter of Larry and Shirley Carroll Shannan.

She and Paul Kinkade were married on April 13, 1983,, at the Kahoka United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Paul, of Kahoka, MO; her parents, Shirley and Norman Butler of Kahoka, MO, and Larry and Linda Shannan of Port St. Lucie, FL; one son, Timothy Paul Kinkade of the home; three daughters: Alisha Logsdon of Des Moines, IA, Amanda Logsdon of Macomb, IL, and Ariane Horsey of Storm Lake, IA; two grandchildren, Bazyl Horsey and Klara Johanson; one brother, Pat Shannan of Granger, MO; two sisters, Debbie Pruett and her husband, Richard, of Kahoka, MO, and Vicki Scott of Kahoka, MO; sisters-in-law, Maria Schieber and her husband, William, of Wellington, MO, and Marcia Munford of Burlington, IA; aunts and uncles: Bill and Lena Carroll of Kahoka, MO, Dean and Shirley Spurgeon of Granger, MO, and Tom and Linda Shannan also of Granger, MO; nieces and nephews whom she loved as if they were her own: Eli Shannan, Seth Shannan, Josiah Pruett, Elisha Pruett and his wife, Sarah, Micah Pruett, Joshua Pruett, Tara Pruett, Jessalynn Scott, Jasmine Scott, Steven Scott, Mike Schieber and his wife, Isabel, Mitchell Schieber and his wife, Julie, Mary Beth Burkhart and her husband, Brad, Matthew Schieber and his wife, Amanda, Joshua Munford and his wife, Megan, and Jonathan Munford: her children's grandparents, Tom and Betty Logsdon of Kahoka MO, who were very dear to her,Paul and their family; as well as great nieces and nephewscousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Edna Mae Kinkade.

Jenny had attended Clark Co. R-1 Schools. She was a homemaker by choice and enjoyed caring for her family, sewing, cooking and gardening. She was a generous person, goodhearted, and happiest when doing for others. She was a special aunt to her nieces and nephews, treating them as if they were her own and taking care of them on numerous occasions. Her deepest pleasure in life came from caring for her family whom she loved with all of her heart.

Funeral services are Monday, September 25, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Rev. Ernest Deatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Ballard Cemetery.

Friends can call at Wilson Funeral Home after noon on Sunday with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Timothy Kinkade education fund.
