JIM E. DAVIDSON

Jim E. Davidson, age 68, of Keokuk, IA formerly from Batavia, IA, died Sunday, December 8, 2019 due to an accident while cutting wood in rural Kahoka, MO.

He was born July 21, 1951 in Ottumwa, IA to John and Marcene Reid Davidson.

Jim grew up in Batavia, IA and graduated from Cardinal High School in Eldon, IA with the class of 1970.

Jimmy loved the farm life, loved horses, and was always working outdoors, camping, and cutting wood for sale. He ran a mowing and snow removal business in his retirement.

Jim is survived by two daughters, Amy Nigbur of South Carolina and Nicki Davidson of Florida; eleven grandchildren: Seth, Samuel, Sydney, Emma, Ethan, Taylor, Dillian, DeAlijah, Avani, Aiyena and Nyarai. His first great grandson is due in February.

He is also survived by his mother, Virginia Davidson of Batavia; a brother, John (Ellen) Davidson of Mt. Pleasant; three sisters: Marsha Brewington of Mt. Pleasant, Jeanetta (Marc) Maynard of Washington, IN, and Carol (Bill) Wilkinson of Batavia; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marcene Davidson, and grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to his family with checks made payable to Jim Davidson.
