JIMMY L. CARROLL
Jimmy L. Carroll, age 47, of Kahoka, MO, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2005, as the result of a one-vehicle accident in Scotland Co., MO.
He was born September 17, 1958, in Keokuk, IA, the son of Kenneth and Goldie McDaniel Carroll.
He and Natalie Arnold were married on February 12, 1977, at the St. Paul United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Natalie, of Kahoka, MO; father-in-law, E. W. Arnold of
Luray, MO; mother-in-law, Norma Arnold, of San Diego, CA; his children, Cole Drew Carroll and Callie Jean Carroll, both of the home; a brother, Jerry Carroll and his wife, Melody, of Iowa City, IA; a sister-in-law, Tamara Arnold and her husband, Tim McAfee, of Seattle, WA; a brother-in-law, Randy Arnold, of Albuquerque, NM; nieces and nephews: Lala Carroll,
Lana Carroll-Goodman, Lettie Carroll, Ryan McAfee, and Robey Arnold; great nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; and, other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Caleb Lee Carroll, on February 1, 1996; and a sister, Kimberly Carroll.
Jimmy was a 1977 graduate of Clark Co. R-1 High School and had been employed at Steel Castings in Keokuk.
He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and spending time at the farm with Cole and Callie. He had a big heart and had a lot of fun playing pranks and teasing. He also had a great knowledge of sports. Family was very important to him and he was a devoted husband and father.
Funeral services are Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Rev. Kenneth Beckmann officiating. Burial will be in Kahoka Cemetery.
There will be no family visitation, however, friends may register from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Paul United Church of Christ Youth.
