JIMMY LEE HAROLDSON

Jimmy Lee Haroldson, age 46, of Memphis, MO, died Monday, February 2, 2009, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO.

He was born April 17, 1962, in Mankato, MN, the son of Bob and Sarah Shaw Haroldson.

He had been married to Kathy Cobb and they were the parents of Jamie.

Survivors include his son, Jamie Haroldson, of Kahoka, MO; his mother, Sarah Haroldson of Mankato, MN; two grandchildren, Tyree and Deonta Haroldson of Kahoka, MO; two brothers, Mike Haroldson and Lyle Haroldson, both of Mankato, MN; close friends, Bernard "Murdock" Shaw, of Minnesota, Tim and Janet Current, Tim Peterson and Bill and Lisa , all of Memphis, MO; Mary Paul of Kahoka, MO; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father and an uncle, Bill Haroldson.

Jimmy was a huge Harley Davidson fan and enjoyed attending and entering his bikes in shows and had received numerous trophies. He enjoyed trips to Sturgis and traveling and seeing the sights on his bike. He also loved to fish and collect motorcycle figurines. He loved life, particularly spending time with his son, grandsons and friends.

A memorial service was held Friday, February 6, 2009, at 6 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Pastor Shawn McAfee officiating. There was no visitation.
