Kevin Eagle

Kevin Eagle, 65, of Kahoka, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, Missouri.

He was born September 14, 1959, in Fort Madison, IA. The son of William Gene and Beverly Jean (Morrow) Eagle. On December 22, 1990, he was united in marriage to Ethel Elaine (Horter) Eagle, and she preceded him in death on February 11, 2022.

Kevin was a 1978 graduate from Clark County High School. He retired from the City of Kahoka as a Water Plant Supervisor. He was devoted to the lord. He made regular in-home visits with people, visiting shut-ins, making hospital calls to the sick, and would even take his guitar to the Nursing Home and playing songs for the residents. When Kevin was recently diagnosed with an illness, he still lived on his faith and prayed about it every day. Kevin enjoyed fishing, collecting coins, mowing his yard on a certain day of the week, but his real passion was collecting genealogy.

Kevin is survived by his daughters: Bethany Eagle of Kahoka, MO., Raven Spight of St. Louis, MO., grandchildren: Makia Shipp, Tatyana Spight, Sophia Spight, Mariah Spight, Londyn Merklin, and Ashtyn Kirchner, several brothers and sisters and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ethel and several siblings.

There will be no service or Visitation. Inurnment is being planned at a later date, and will be held at the Kahoka Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in his memory to the Kahoka Cemetery and may be left at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home Kahoka, MO..
