Leroy Koch

GERALD LEROY KOCH

Gerald Leroy Koch, age 60 of Winchester (rural Canton), MO, died Tuesday,

December 2, 2003 at his home.

He was born April 27, 1943 near Laddonia, MO, a son of Edmund Henry and

Virginia Merle Rife Koch.

On April 7, 1962, he was united in marriage to Mary Kathrine Morgan at Palmyra, MO.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Winchester (rural Canton), MO; two brothers,

Jerry Koch and his wife, Eli, of Las Vegas, NV, and Gary Koch and his wife, Jeanne of

Billings, MT; a sister, Josephine "Josie" McNabb of Hannibal, MO; brothers-in-law and

sisters-in-law, George and Winnie Morgan of Lentner, MO, Ernest and Delia Morgan of

Macon, MO, Barbara Ellis of Trenton, MO, Lois and Gale Woods of Victor, CO, Clara Mae and Don Winkler of Adrian, MI, Marie Morgan of Paris, MO, and Mary Morgan of Paris, MO; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a baby in infancy; an infant brother; and, two brothers-in-law, John and Marvin Morgan.

Leroy attended Palmyra High School. He had been a driver for 12 ½ years for Foil Graphics of Keokuk, IA until retiring two years ago due to ill health. He was an expert

shooter and loved his guns and hunting and fishing. He always enjoyed visiting with neighbors and friends and attending auctions, rummage sales and flea markets.

Funeral services are Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Rev. Clayton Peak officiating. Mr. Mathew Eder was soloist with special music

"I Want to Stroll Over Heaven" and "Precious Memories".

Pallbearers were Billie Shoemeyer, Howard Shoemeyer, Jerry Arnold, Ernest Morgan, Glen

Morgan and Tim Williams.

Burial was in Day Cemetery.

Visitation was held 9:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday.

Memorials were suggested to the family.
