Lila Seaver, 85, of Luray, Missouri, passed away at 12:18 pm, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, surrounded by her family, at the Clark County Nursing.

Lila was born November 5, 1938, in Hancock Co, IL, the daughter of Lyle H and Alpha (Douglas) Livingston.

Lila attended Hamilton High School. She married Wilbert Franklyn Seaver, on June 29, 1956, at Burnside, IL., and he survives. She was a faithful and active member of the Luray Church of Faith (Methodist Church).

Lila enjoyed having a large garden and canning her produce. She liked tending to her baby calves. She enjoyed collecting angels and has quit a collection. Lila liked being in the kitchen and cooking her specialty, which was beef and noodles, desserts of all kinds, mainly cinnamon rolls and sugar cookies. A highlight of Lilas and Franks was their trip they went on along with several friends to Hawaii and Alaska and they talked about it even years later. Lila loved her family and looked forward to when they were coming to their farm for a visit or a family meal.

Lila is survived by her husband Frank of 68 years, 2 sons: Lyle Seaver of Arbela, MO., Gary (Jodie) Seaver of Canton, MO., 1 daughter: Tammy Eddleman of Luray, MO., 1 brother: Charles R Livingston of Kirksville, MO., 4 grandchildren: Tommy (Melody) Seaver, Danielle Eddleman, John (Nicki Franklin) Eddleman, Devin (Natasha) Eddleman, 6 great grandchildren: Nathan Seaver, Nole Seaver, Caden Kerfoot, Blake Kerfoot, and Emily Schmitz; Ruger Eddleman and one due in November; and 2 grand-dogs, “Tippy” and “Truffles” She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Lila is preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandson: Adam Seaver and 1 sister-in-law: Bonnie Livingston.

Funeral Services for Lila Seaver will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home in Kahoka, MO. Pastor Donna Reid will officiate. A burial will follow at the Seaver-Eddleman Family Cemetery, Arbela, MO. Visitation with family present will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Wilson & Triplett funeral Home. 

Memorial contributions in memory of Lila are suggested to Local Cancer Fund or Sever-Clark County Library.
