MARGARET ELLIOTT

Margaret Elliott, age 85, of Kahoka, MO, died Thursday, May 31, 2007, at her

home.

She was born April 23, 1922, at Chambersburg, MO, a daughter of Raymond Pearl and Beulah Belle Coffin Yates.

She married George E. Elliott on December 24, 1942, at Memphis, MO. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1983.

Survivors include three sons: Terry Elliott and his wife, Maria, of Moraga, CA, James Elliott and his wife, Cheryl, of Revere, MO, and, Richard Elliott and his wife, Jennifer, of Carson, IA;

one daughter, Marcia Stewart and her husband, Bill, of Kahoka, MO; eight grandchildren: Christopher and Nicholas Elliott of Moraga, CA, Dena Schmeizer and her husband, Doug, of Revere, MO, Kevin Elliott and his wife, Tasha of Carthage, IL, Bret Elliott of Papillion, NE, Amy Smith and her husband, Mike, of Treynor, IA, Tim Stewart and his wife, Dorian, of Hannibal, MO and Doug Stewart and his wife, Valerie, of Camp Point, IL; seven great-grandchildren: Sabrina and Vanessa Schmeizer, Wyatt and Madison Elliott, Caleb Stewart, and, John and Phillip Anderson;

as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a sister, Mavis Jean Worrell.

Margaret attended Collins rural school and graduated from Revere High School and

Chillicothe Business College.

She was a homemaker all of her married life, helping her husband on the family farm and raising her children. She attended Anson Community Church and was a member of the Anson

Ladies' Aid. She was a member of the Go-Go Girls card club, playing cards and games regularly the first Tuesday of the month and ready to go again whenever someone would call. She loved flowers and missed the farm and gardening. She also loved the Nashville channel and listening to country western music. More than anything, she loved spending time with family, especially her great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 3, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in

Kahoka with Pastor Ken Goyer officiating. Burial will follow in Kahoka Cemetery.

Friends can call at Wilson Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Saturday with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Anson Community Church or the donor's choice.
