Margaret Lee

Margaret R. Lee age 93 of Kahoka, MO died December 27, 2012 at Keokuk area Hospital in Keokuk Iowa.

Graveside services will be held January 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Revere Cemetery, Revere, MO with Rev. Charles Hammack officiating. Friends may call after 9 with the family receiving friends from 12:30-1:30 at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka, MO.

Mrs. Lee was born May 2, 1919, in Revere, MO, to Samuel and Alta Gudka McKee. She Married Frank Lee on June 3, 1939 near Revere, and he preceded her in death.

Margaret graduated from Revere High School and attended Central College at Fayette, MO. She and her husband owned and operated a John Deere store in Muscatine, IA for 19 years. She was a member of the Kahoka Presbyterian Church and formerly a member of Missouri United Methodist Church at Columbia, MO, the Wesleyan Hyde Circle, P.E.O and participated in Meals on Wheels organization.

Survivors include one son Gary Lee of Marion, IN; a daughter, Janice Grote of Cedar Rapids IA, 8 grandchildren; Shelly Williams of West Liberty, IA, Briana Lee of Marion, IN, Renata Wagner of Marion, IN, Shaun Burman of Marion, IN, Angela Shelfo of North Liberty, IA, Paul Smith of North Liberty, IA, Chad Smith of North Liberty, IA and William Baldwin of North Liberty, IA.
11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Gale Gray, Dean Lee, Jim Blessing, Paul Smith, Bill Baldwin, Kevin Williams, Roger Pezley and Calvin Hesse.
