Nolan K. Roberts

Nolan K. Roberts, 78, of Revere, MO., passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

He was born November 17, 1946, in Keokuk, Iowa. The son of Richard Reuben Roberts and Bessie Louise (Sisson) Roberts. He attended Luray grade school and was a 1964 graduate of Kahoka High School. On February 14, 1968, he was united in marriage to Martha (Mendenhall) Roberts, and to this union 3 children were born, they later were divorced.

Nolan was drafted in 1966 for the United States Army. He served his country and was honorably discharged in 1968. He was a huge Kansas City Chiefs football fan and a Chicago Cubs baseball fan. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting with his family and sharing his memories of growing up. He looked forward to getting together with family and his friends. He loved his dog (Blaze).

Nolan is survived by his daughter: Terry (Shawn) Doty of Wayland, MO., his sons: Kevin (Angel) Roberts and Gary Roberts both of Revere, MO., a sister: Marlena (Leon) Trueblood of Memphis, MO., 9 grandchildren: Stephen (Jordan) Caviness, Mindy Roberts, Cody Roberts, Shantelle Doty, Logan Doty, Shawna (Preston) Doty, Ashtin Roberts, Ryan (Aurora) Roberts, Ezra Roberts, 8 great grandchildren and 2 on the way, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Stephen Roberts.

Graveside services for Nolan Roberts will be held at Combs Cemetery in Luray, Missouri on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 11:00 am. Pastor Shawn McAfee officiating. Visitation with family present will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home, Kahoka, MO. Memorial contributions in memory of Nolan Roberts are suggested to the family checks payable to Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home.
