NORMA McQUARRIE

Norma McQuarrie, age 64, of Rathdrum, ID, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Lifecare Center in Coeur d'Alene, ID.

She was born August 29, 1941, at Moline, IL, the daughter of Harold "Broomie" and Mary Lou Kennedy Broomhall.

She and Stanmore McQuarrie were married in California in 1971.

Survivors include her husband, Stanmore, of Rathdrum, ID; her mother, Mary Lou Broomhall, of Kahoka, MO; one brother, Harold Broomhall and his wife, MaryAnn, of Omaha, NE; a nephew and niece and their families, David Eric Broomhall of Des Moines, IA and Teresa Howard of St. Peters, MO; three step-sons and one step-daughter and their families; as well as other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Norma was involved in a tragic automobile accident in Alaska thirty years ago which left her with injuries requiring full time care and rehab in a care facility. During that time she was blessed with the loving care and devotion of her husband as well as the many caregivers through the years.

Graveside services are Saturday, July 8, 2006, at 10 a.m. in the Kahoka Cemetery with Pastor Deborah Schmidt officiating. Friends are invited to a luncheon immediately following at the Kahoka United Methodist Church to visit with family. Memorials are suggested to the Clark Co. Senior Center. Local arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home.
