PATRICIA JEAN MORTIMER MOORE

Patricia Jean Mortimer Moore, age 67, of Culleoka, TN, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, May 10, 2004 after a brave and courageous fight against cancer.

A native of Keokuk, IA, she was born November 20, 1936 in Keokuk, a daughter of Percy and Flossie Lloyd Mortimer O'Shea.

She married the love of her life, Robert Michael "Mike" Moore in August of 1973.

She is survived by her husband, Mike, of Culleoka, TN; three daughters, Cheryl Rutledge and her husband, John, of Knoxville, TN, Cindy Wehrle of Erlanger, KY, and Connie Nelsen and her husband, Charles, of Kahoka, MO; four brothers, Jim Mortimer and his wife, Mary, and Andrew O'Shea and his wife, Sandy, all of Keokuk, IA, Michael O'Shea and his wife, Sue, of Kahoka, MO, and Joe O'Shea and his wife, Holly, of Pulaski, TN; three sister, Mary Grimes of

Montrose, IA, Sally Hauff and her husband, Bubby, and Dinah Meinhardt and her husband, Jim, all of Keokuk, IA; six grandchildren: Jason Rutledge, David Miller, Patricia Jean Miller, Gabriella Wehrle, Cody Nelsen, and Trista Nelsen.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

An inspiration to many, Patricia went back to school at the age of 43, receiving her GED and nursing degree. She had been an LPN at the Clark Co. Nursing Home in Kahoka until moving to Tennessee in 1990. She was a retired LPN of Maury Regional Hospital. While there Patricia made many friends with whom she retained a close, personal relationship. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Columbia, TN. She enjoyed playing cards and visiting area river boats. She was a treasured wife, mother, and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held held Saturday, May 15, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Bro. Bill Hauser officiating.

Burial will be in Kahoka Cemetery.

Visitation is after 10 a.m. on Saturday with family receiving friends from noon until time of services.

Memorials are suggested to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1100 S. High Street, Columbia, TN 38401.
