Patricia Winters

Patricia Ann Winters, 82, formally of Wayland, Missouri, passed away at 11:12 pm, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at River Hills Village in Keokuk, Iowa.

Pat was born August 15, 1942, in Burlington, Iowa. The daughter of Russell M. and Cecilia V. (Logsdon) Riney. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Winters at the St Martha’s Catholic Church in Wayland, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2020.

Pat worked for Kmart as a bookkeeper in Keokuk Iowa, for many years until they closed the doors. She then worked as a bookkeeper for Industrial Opportunities in Kahoka, Missouri, until she retired. She spent 30 years crafting and putting her finishing touches on all the woodworking projects. Pat and Kenny looked forward to going to flea markets, attending auctions, and traveling. Pat loved life and lived it to the fullest as her family being the center of her world. She looked forward to family gatherings and being with her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother and will deeply be missed by her family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her sons: Kenneth “Darrell” (Debbie) Winters of Canton, MO, Kevin (Loretta) Winters of Kahoka, MO, Kurt (Deanna) Winters of Venice, FL, her daughters: Kim (Chad) Winters of Wayland, MO, Kelly (Todd) Campbell of Kahoka, MO, a daughter-in-law: Lori Winters of Liberty, MO, Grandchildren: DeAnn (Pat) McNally, Darin Winters, Brandon (LeAnn) Winters, Quentin (Laura) Winters, Amanda (Derick) Davis, Heather Ryland, Kashia (Derek) Drake, Ashley (D.J.) Shatley, Tyler (Jordan) Winters, Kyann Winters, Kylin (Raymond) Merschbrock, Lana Winters, Michael (Melissa) Campbell, Zane (Denise) Campbell, Tressa (Trent) Wellendorf, Trevor (Brianna) Winters, and Dr. Carissa Winters. 31 great- grandchildren and one on the way, a brother: Ed (Tammy) Riney of Revere, MO, sisters-in-law: Emmajean Riney of Destin, FL, Sandra Ewart of Alexandria, MO, and other relatives and friends.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Kyle Winters, a brother William Riney, a sister and her husband Mary Darlene (Brody) Stevens, brother-in-law Joe Ewart and her beloved dog Slugger.

Graveside services for Patricia Ann Winters will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the St Patrick Cemetery, St Patrick, Missouri. Father Rob Fields will officiate. Memorial contributions in memory of Patricia Winters are suggested to the St. Patrick Cemetery.
