PATSY MAE McLAUGHLIN LOGSDON

Patsy Mae McLaughlin Logsdon, age 92, of Winter Haven, FL passed away, Sunday, February 4, 2018.

She was born February 2, 1926 in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Bren R. Crocker and Elsie Mae Beard Crocker.

Patsy spent most of her life in Kahoka, MO, later residing in Canton and Hannibal, both in Missouri and then in Jacksonville, FL.

She began her banking career in Kahoka in 1959 and retired in 1982 as Asst. VP of Commerce Bank of Kahoka. While living in Canton, she was compliance officer at Farmers and Merchant Bank of LaGrange. At the time of her death, she was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Jacksonville, FL.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Forrest R. McLaughlin and Russell Logsdon; her son, Patrick F. McLaughlin; a step-son, Ronald Logsdon; and sister, Betty Richmond.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela McLaughlin Shrauner and her husband, Sam of Champions Gate, FL; daughter-in-law, Julie McLaughlin of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Beverly Bohon of Sarasota, FL; step-children: Phyllis M. Eisenburg of Maywood, MO, Steven Logsdon of OK, Michael Logsdon of Maywood, MO and K. Patrick Logsdon of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren: Molly Ann Shrauner of Miami, FL, Sameta Shrauner Sosa of Uvalde, TX, Katy Shrauner Thompson of Chandler, AZ, Ryan Patrick McLaughlin of Grand Rapids, MI; Meghan McLaughlin Atherton of Winter Garden, FL and Maureen McLaughlin Stevenson of Jacksonville, FL; step-grandchildren: Todd Logsdon, Dusty Logsdon, Cory Logsdon, Cindy Eichor, Nicole Eisenburg Brinkman, Stephanie Martinez, Stacy Logsdon, Tina Logsdon, Jennifer Logsdon, Logan Logsdon, Hilary Logsdon, Dana Logsdon Smith, Holly Logsdon and Travis Logsdon.

A Scripture service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka led by Kristin Roth.

Family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 until the Scripture Service. beginning at 7:30.

Inurnment will be private in the Kahoka Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to FL Pancreatic Cancer Coalition (FLPCC.org) are requested. FLPCC was founded by Patsy’s son Patrick to fund pancreatic cancer research.
