RAYMOND JOHNSON

Raymond Johnson, age 71, of Kahoka, MO, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Clark Co. Nursing Home where he had been a patient since February 16, 2013.

Raymond was born April 3, 1941, in Kansas City, MO, the son of John and Mary Johnson.

He is survived by friends and caregivers, Donnie and Vickie Burks and family, of Kahoka, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Raymond was employed as a delivery person for Tony Peso's grocery store in Kansas City until moving to Kahoka where he was an employee of Industrial Opportunities until his retirement at the age of 62. He had lived as part of the Burks family for the past 13 years.

Raymond loved watching "Bonanza", "Gun Smoke", and "The Three Stooges" and was an avid country western fan. He loved sharing stories of the past and spending time with Chad Young, his favorite person in the world.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no visitation.

Memorials donations may be made to Wilson Funeral Home in order to defray his final expenses.
