Roger Speer

Roger Wayne Speer, 69, of Luray,Mo passed away at 3:45 am on Monday, December 11, 2023, at his home. Roger was born on December 11, 1954 in Bloomfield, Iowa to Ermin and Betty (Ballew) Speer.  Roger married Janie (Graham) Speer February 4, 1990, and she survives.
Roger is survived by his wife Janie, his mother-in-law Darlene Graham, 1 sister; Sheila York, Kahoka, MO, 2 sister-in-laws; Vickie Speer and Connie Spurgeon both of Illinois, and Klancy Eberle that was like a daughter of Illinois, nieces, nephews and other relatives and a host of friends. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law Ronnie Graham, 1 brother; Mike Speer , and Kylee Inman that was like a son.
Roger was a High School graduate of Wyaconda School. He was a self-employed truck driver and made many new friends. He enjoyed a good game of Euchre with his buddies and of course liked to win.  Always ready and willing to go on jeep rides with his nephew Brandon.  He liked to mushroom hunt, arrowhead hunt and ride in his side by side with Janie. He loved his dogs and were always by his side.  
Memorial Service for Roger Speer will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home in Kahoka, Mo with Pastor Glen Yoder officiating. Visitation will be held at 9:00 am prior to  the service at 10:00 am at Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home in Kahoka, Mo.  Inurnment to follow at Liberty Cemetery, Williamstown, Mo.
