Ronald E Bullerd

Ronald “Ron” E. Bullerd, 81, of Wayland, Missouri, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 1, 2025. 

He was born September 1, 1943, in Keokuk, IA. The son of Harry Russell and Dorothy Marie (Trimble) Bullerd. On May 14, 1966, he was united in marriage to Vernice E. (Golliher) Bullerd at Alexandria Presbyterian Church, and she preceded him in death on February 15, 2021.

Ron graduated from Kahoka High School in 1961. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy August 1, 1961. Ron was a crop farmer, something he looked forward to when the season hit. Loved his animals and a good cup of coffee. Ron did long-haul trucking for over 30 years for Sharkey, Holland and most recently hauled gravel for Campbell Trucking.

Ron is survived by his daughter Melissa (Matt) Smith of Keokuk, IA., a sister Peggy Sue Harmon of Alexandria, MO., and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Vernice, a sister Joyce Anne Miller and brothers-in-law Leslie Harmon and Richard Miller.

Graveside services with full Military Rites accorded by the American Legion Post #192 and Navy Honor Guard for Ronald Eugene Bullerd will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Frazee Cemetery, Wayland, MO. Pastor Larry Mulch will officiate. Memorials contributions in memory of Ronald Bullerd are suggested to the Local Clark County Cancer Fund, and may be left at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home, Kahoka, MO.
