Rubee Justice

Rubee Gene Justice, 2 years, 11 months and 23 days old passed away at 1:49 am on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO. 

She was born December 18, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Mo and weighed 1 pound, 5 ounces and she was just 12 inches long.  A strong fighter from day one.  She was the precious daughter of Aspen Michael and Emily Ann (Sutterfield) Justice of Kahoka, Mo, and they survive.

Rubee was a very active and busy little girl. She loved to sing and would sing at the top of her voice, she liked being outside and playing with her kitty “Sammy”.  Rubee liked wearing her pink crocs and didn’t go anywhere without them on.  Rubee was happy when she watched her favorite tv show bluey, and the movies Boss Baby and Trolls.  Rubee Gene was such a loving and happy little girl and her smile would light up the room.  She was a true blessing to her family.  

In addition to her parents Aspen and Emily, Rubee is survived by her younger brother; Kade Justice of the home, Grandparents; Greg and Evelena (Cochenour) Sutterfield of Kahoka, XL and Shelly Justice of Liberty, Il, Josh and Jennifer (Yates) Tipton of Hamilton, Il. Great Grandparents; Georgia Sutterfield of Kahoka, Kenny and (Kim) Yates of Revere. Great Great Grandparents; Gene (Linda) Yates of Revere and Joann Shaw of Kahoka. She is also survived by her many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and her special little friends at Terri’s daycare.

Rubee Gene was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents; Ross and Mary Cochenour, Harold Sutterfield, Vanita and Robert Justice and Connie Brors.

Private Graveside Services. Pastor Kim McNamar will officiate.
