RUTHIE MOORE WILLIAMS

Graveside services for Bob Williams, age 84, and his wife, Ruth Moore Williams, age 83, of Aurora, CO, will be held Friday, May 14, 2004 at 10 a.m. in Kahoka Cemetery.

Bob Williams was born in Centerville, IA to Velma Williams on January 18, 1920 and shortly after that moved to Kahoka. Ruth Moore was born September 26, 1920 in Kahoka, MO, a daughter of Alexander Harrison and Julia Elizabeth Hanna Moore.

They were married on September 8, 1939 in Kahoka.

Bob passed away on April 23, 2004 and Ruth passed away on May 5, 2004.

Following their marriage, they moved to St. Louis where they raised their only child,Elizabeth. They later moved to Colorado where they passed away less than five months short of their 65th wedding anniversary.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Knudson and her husband, Bill, of Aurora, CO;

two grandsons, Chad Knudson and his wife, Roberta, and Jared Knudson, all of Aurora; a great grandson, Julian Christopher Knudson, also of Aurora, CO; nieces and nephews: Wayne Moore and his wife, Dorothy, of Kahoka, MO, Allen Moore of Wheatland, MO, Linda Waterman and her husband, John, of Omaha, NE, and David Moore of Aurora, IL; as well as great nieces and nephews.

There will be visitation. Local arrangements are being handled by Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka.
