Ryan Shaw

Ryan Shaw 46, of Kahoka, Missouri, formerly of Warsaw, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at his home.

Ryan was born in Keokuk, Iowa, on January 30, 1979, to Rick and Barbara (Trone) Shaw. He was a graduate of Warsaw High School, where he was active in football and other pursuits. After 2 years at SIU, Ryan settled into a life where his passions included hunting, fishing, and running his dogs. His favorite dog was “Bimini” and she was the beloved “baby” of the family. Ryan married Jennifer Carlson on May 26, 2023, and he enjoyed spending time with her on Caribbean Cruises to the Bahamas and Mexico. Ryan loved to travel, and he adored spending time with his kids, cooking zucchini bread and his favorite jalapeno poppers, and working in his garden. Ryan had recently taken up beekeeping and all who knew Ryan will deeply miss all their special moments with him and his wonderful, beautiful heart.

Ryan leaves behind his loving wife Jennifer, daughters Kaylie Hall, Alexis Hall, and Mahayla Roberts; also, his son Jayden Hall; his parents Rick and Barbara Shaw of Warsaw, Illinois; brother Casey (Amanda) Shaw; and sister Ericka Shaw; mother-in-law Jeanne (Wesley) Denning of Kahoka, Missouri; and father-in-law David Carlson of Roseville, Illinois; brother-in-law Eric (Britney) Carlson

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and great-grandparents.

 Private Funeral Services for Ryan Shaw will be Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home, Kahoka, MO with Private burial at the Kahoka Cemetery. Pastor Shawn McAfee will officiate. Private visitation will be held at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home, Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm. Memorials in Memory of Ryan may be made to the family, Checks payable to Jennifer Shaw.
