STEPHEN N. ROBERTS

Stephen N. Roberts, age 61, of Kahoka, Missouri, formerly of Luray, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at his home after losing his battle with cancer.

He was born the second son of Richard Reuben Roberts, Jr. and Louise (Sisson) Roberts, on December 8, 1952, in LaHarpe, Illinois.

Stephen attended Luray Elementary and graduated from Revere High School in 1970.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam conflict.

He enjoyed the outdoors, tinkering with things, and helping others. He could building something out of nothing.

Survivors include his two sons, Destry and Chance Roberts, both of Kahoka. He is also survived by a brother, Nolan Roberts of St. Louis, MO; a sister, Marlena Trueblood and her husband, Leon, of Memphis, MO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Per his wishes, he was cremated. His remains will be buried in the Combs Cemetery at Luray with private graveside services.
