Tabitha Lynn Kirchner

Tabitha Lynn Kirchner, 50, of Kahoka, passed away at Thursday, February 20, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Tabitha was born on March 29, 1974, in Madison, WI, to Earl James and Norma Jean (Roseleaf) Ratliff. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Tod Lyman Kirchner, on June 28, 1998, in Kahoka, MO.

Tabitha graduated from Wayne Community High School. She then furthered her education with a 2-year degree in drafting from Indian Hills. She was employed as a Fork Truck Driver at Hennigan’s in Keokuk, IA. Tabitha was a lifelong Packers fan and never missed watching a game with a cold diet Pepsi in hand. She was quite the collector of John Deere, Snoopy and of course the Green Bay Packers. Tabitha would anxiously wait for the season to turn so she could put in her big garden and plant flowers. It gave her great joy to can her produce and then give it to her family and friends. To relax when she had time, she faithfully watched Blue Bloods and The Red-Green show. Tabitha had a loving and caring heart. 

Tabitha is survived by her parents: Earl and Norma Jean of Allerton, IA., her husband Tod, her mother in-law Maxine Kirchner of Kahoka, MO., 1 son: Jacob (Lindsey) Kirchner of Keokuk IA., 1 daughter: Tamera Kirchner of Kahoka, MO., 2 brothers Earl (Malina) Ratliff of Freemont, IA., Todd (Kim) Ratliff of Albia, IA., 5 grandchildren: Alysa Day, Justine Day, Steven Benstine, Coyt Benstine, Oaklyn Kirchner, also surviving his her “2 Boys” Peanut and Shadow, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father in-law Tedd Kirchner, and her grandparents. 

Funeral services for Tabitha Lynn Kirchner will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home. Burial at the Kahoka Cemetery, Kahoka, MO. Pastor Donald Sherwood will officiate. Visitation will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home.
