THELMA A. "TIM" MARTIN

Thelma A. "Tim" Martin, age 88, of Kahoka, MO, died Friday, December 3, 2004 in Keokuk Area Hospital.

She was born May 31, 1916 at Mt. Pleasant, IA, a daughter of Willie E. and Emma M. Crump Weed.

She married Ray J. Martin on November 15, 1934 at Kahoka. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1969.

Survivors include a son, Kent R. Martin and his wife, Marilyn, of Kahoka, MO; one daughter, Joyce D. Ferguson and her husband, Ronald, of Springfield, MO; one sister, Verna Meyer of Madison, WI; six grandchildren: Kevin and Linda Martin of Goodlettsville, TN, Krista Gray of Quincy, IL, Connie and Steve Schneider of Naples, FL, Jerry and LaDawn

Ferguson of Catoosa, OK, Mike and Sharon Ferguson of Tulsa, OK, and Tammy and Mike Inman of Springfield, MO; nineteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; and five sisters.

"Tim" was a graduate of Keokuk High School and a member of the Kahoka Presbyterian Church. For many years she was bookkeeper for the family business, R & K Martin, located in Kahoka.

Funeral services are Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Rev. Kenneth Beckmann officiating. Burial will be in Kahoka Cemetery.

Friends can call at Wilson Funeral Home Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday after 9 a.m. with family receiving friends from noon until time of services.
