VEDA BELLE SNEEDEN

Veda Belle Sneeden, age 91, of Kahoka, MO, died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at her home.

She was born September 20, 1914 in Luray, MO, a daughter of Clarence C. and Minnie Pearl Weller Armstrong.

She married Ralph E. Sneeden on September 15, 1936. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1971.

Survivors include a son, Ralph E. Sneeden, Jr. and his wife, Le, of Rockledge, FL; four grandchildren, Larry, Gary, Angelique, and Jacqueline; two great granddaughters, Laura and Chloe; two brothers, Eldon Armstrong and his wife, Evelyn, of Gerring, NE, and Gene Armstrong and his wife, Joy, of Kahoka, MO; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Louise Armstrong of Medill, MO and Donald and Nonie Sneeden of LaGrange, MO; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and, three brothers, Eston, Harlan, and Donald Armstrong.

Veda graduated from Luray High School and was a member of the Kahoka Christian Church. She had been a dietician in the Phoenix, AZ school system before retiring and returning to Missouri.

Funeral services are Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Rev. Dick Clifford officiating. Burial will follow in Kahoka Cemetery.

Friends can call at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka after 10 a.m. on Tuesday with family receiving friends from 7-8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Kahoka Christian Church.
