Vivian Whitehead

Vivian G. Whitehead, age 74, of Wyaconda, MO, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at her home.

Vivian was born October 8, 1944 at Davenport, IA, a daughter of Cecil and Loretta Cordle Williams.

She married Robert Whitehead and they were together for over fifty years.

Survivors include her five children: Bonnie (Jerry) Henke of Granite City, IL, Wayne Whitehead of Davenport, IA, Forrest Whitehead of Lake Whitney, TX, Mark (Kathy) Whitehead of Collinsville, IL and Jeffrey Whitehead of Texas; as well as fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; several brothers; and a sister.

Vivian attended school at Fairmont. Following her marriage she became a homemaker and was very protective of her children. She loved visiting and spending time with her family and extended family. She also loved to travel. Vivian was associated with the apostolic faith. The past few years her faith had become even stronger and each night was spent praying for all of her children and their families.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with burial following in the Coffey Cemetery, rural Downing, Missouri.
